Are you ready to make Bible study a priority? Would you love to be more familiar with the stories and passages in scripture? Do you long to connect with God and strengthen your faith?
Friend, you are in the right place. This podcast will help you understand your Bible, apply verses to your life, and become more confident with the who, where, and why in scripture
Hi, I’m Angie. I’m a pastor and Bible teacher. For years, even though I knew God loved me, I still dealt with defeating doubts about my value and purpose. It wasn’t until I began deeply studying the Bible that I experienced a heart transformation that allowed me to recognize the lies of the enemy that kept me stuck in shame and defeat. Studying scripture allowed me to stand firm on God’s promises that offer peace, joy, hope, and rest. I created a Step By Step Bible study method that teaches you to find life application in one word of scripture, and I will share it with you in these episodes.
If you crave a deep dive into scripture…
Bible study tools you can trust…
And a method designed to equip you to study with confidence…
Then, pull up a seat at our table, open your heart, and prepare to hear God speak directly to you.

When Believers Don’t See Eye to Eye
Disagreement among Christians can feel unsettling, especially when it stirs old wounds or makes us question our place in community.
In this episode, Angie shares a personal story from her early ministry years and turns to Acts 15 to explore how God met the early church in a moment of deep tension.
Whether you’re walking through a disagreement right now or carrying tender memories from the past, this conversation will meet you gently and remind you that God is present even in the places we’d rather avoid.
What You’ll Hear in This Episode
- Angie’s personal story of navigating disagreement in her first pastorate and how the Holy Spirit steadied her
- Why Acts 15 (“The Circumcision Decision”) is one of Scripture’s most honest, hope-filled pictures of conflict in Christian community
- The three invitations God offers when believers disagree:
discernment, formation, and reflection - Why conflict doesn’t have to be a threat to unity but can actually become a place of spiritual maturity
- A fresh look at Romans 12:18 and what it really means to “live at peace… as far as it depends on you”
- Gentle encouragement for anyone who feels misunderstood, weary, or wary of church community
